Swiss Biotech Center selected for the Accelere Health Program

Launched last fall, the cross-border Accelere’Health program is in full swing. After a first expedition in Sion, which welcomed French project leaders, it is now Besançon’s turn to welcome promising Swiss projects. Among a multitude of applications, Swiss Biotech Center (SBC) was able to stand out and win its place in the program: destination Besançon!

Accelere’Health, a unique cross-border program

Accelere’Health is a cross-border program that brings together the strengths of the health ecosystems of Sion, Lyon and Besançon. This program aims to promote technological and innovative nuggets in health and life sciences. The objective is to meet the best experts, to discover dynamic and complementary environments and to multiply the industrial, academic and medical contacts that will allow projects to find a new way to rise!

Swiss Biotech Center at the heart of a true competitiveness cluster

Besançon is the cradle of microtechnology. The Besançon region is also focusing on one of the most promising sectors of the moment: biomanufacturing. Indeed, microtechnologies have been able to combine with cellular therapies to develop flagship products such as CAR-T cells. Some of the most advanced French skills in this field are to be found in Besançon.

Selected by the organizing teams, Swiss Biotech Center has distinguished itself by the quality of its services dedicated to biopharmaceutical products. Thanks to its pre-industrial platform, the Swiss start-up offers an ideal place to concretely support project leaders in the development of their innovative products, from the idea to the final product, in compliance with regulatory standards.

The Swiss Biotech Center is currently immersed in Bisontine territory. This is an ideal opportunity for the Swiss nugget to showcase its expertise in a new ecosystem and expand its network. Its objective: to identify partners with complementary skills in the biopharmaceutical field and to identify project leaders with development and production needs.
